Kelly Stinnett, Studio Owner & Teacher (Piano & Voice)

An enthusiastic and joyful educator, Kelly has been teaching voice and piano lessons in the greater St. Louis area since 2007! Kelly has a warm and engaging teaching style, tailoring lessons to suit each student’s unique giftedness and interests. Her voice students regularly perform in community and school theatre productions and have appeared with the Muny, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, and on stage at the Sheldon and the Fabulous Fox Theatre in the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition. Her piano students have performed in master classes with Daniel Schene and composers Martin Cuellar and Catherin Rollin. Graduates of Kelly’s studio have gone on to major in music and have received talent scholarships from schools including Webster University, UMKC Conservatory, Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre & Dance at SEMO, Washington University, and Mizzou.

In addition to maintaining an active and vibrant studio, Kelly is the Junior Festival Gold Cup Chair for Virtuoso Club, the largest National Federation of Music Clubs chapter in the St. Louis area and is also a member of the Mid America Music Association.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Western Illinois University where she studied voice with Terry Chasteen. Post-college, Kelly continued her vocal studies with Classic 107.3 host, Kathy Lawton Brown. A native of St. Charles, growing up Kelly studied piano with Alice Perrey, and continued her piano studies in college at Lincoln Christian University with Linda Storm.

When she’s not teaching, Kelly enjoys spending time with her friends and family and obsessing over her sweet show dog, Dave (pictured here)!






Jennifer Ferry, Teacher (Voice & Beginner Piano)

Joining Kelly Stinnett Studios with a passion for music, Jennifer Ferry is a professional singer and an ardent believer in the transformative power of music. With three years of dedicated teaching experience, and over eight years of performing experience, Jennifer brings her goal-oriented approach to the studio tailoring each student's journey to match their unique aspirations, whether they seek to grace grand opera stages or simply find joy through the magic of music.

Having earned a degree in music from Washington University in St. Louis, Jennifer's dedication to her craft led her to perform at prestigious venues like the Fabulous Fox, the iconic Muny, and the renowned Sheldon. Drawing from her own experiences as a professional singer, she empowers her students to embrace their voices and confidently perform, speak, and move before audiences of any size.

Jennifer is proud to foster a welcoming and supportive environment, making every lesson an enjoyable and enriching experience for her students. Her dedication to nurturing musical talents is matched only by her genuine enthusiasm for helping others find their own unique musical path.

When she's not teaching you'll often find her performing around St. Louis, curled up with a book, or exploring all the local coffee shops St. Louis has to offer!

Sarah Baumann, Teacher (Piano)

Sarah is thrilled to join Kelly Stinnett Studios as a piano teacher! With three years of teaching experience in special education and extensive experience playing both piano and flute, Sarah brings a unique perspective to music instruction, combining her passion for music with expertise in individualized learning. 

From 2007-2017, Sarah took piano lessons from the studio’s owner, Kelly Stinnett, which greatly shaped her musical journey. Her love for music from a young age led her to later pursue the flute which she went on to play throughout college at Missouri Baptist University where she received several music scholarships.

Now, as she embarks on her first year teaching music, Sarah is dedicated to empowering students to become confident in their abilities. Known for her patient and encouraging approach, she creates a supportive environment where students of all abilities can thrive, tailoring lessons to meet individual goals and needs. Sarah strives to inspire creativity and self-expression, helping students build both their musical skills and personal confidence.

When she’s not teaching, you can find her doing yoga, reading a book, or spending time with her cat, Darcy.
